The Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) National Air Raid Protection League

The Luftschutz is otherwise known as the RLB Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) National Air Raid Protection League was a voluntary organisation set by Herman Göring, in 1933.

The Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) National Air Raid Protection League was set-up to provide education and training for the German population in civil defense against air raids.  In 1939 the (RLB) became a non-governmental organisation and was dissolved after the war.
