British WW2 68 (North Midland) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) Formation Badge
A rare original British WW2 68 (North Midland) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment RA (TA) formation badge, machine embroidered. The battery were formed in Malta in June 1943, and adopted the the Maltese cross shield vertically divided red and blue. Other incarnations of this unit wore the same badge as the 262nd Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment and later 438th LAA Regiment Royal Artillery, which became Royal Engineers in 1961. The badge has no damage or repairs in very good condition.
