A genuine Iron Cross 1st Class 1939 by Funcke & Brüninghaus, three-piece construction with a blackened magnetic iron core. The reverse is stamped L/56 on the pin with a barrel hinge and flat wire hinge; measuring 43.3mm (w) x 43.7 (h) and weighing 20.4 grams. The iron cross comes complete with the original presentation box the exterior is covered in black leatherette, and the inner lid is lined in white silk marked "LDO" and the base is lined in beige felt. The award is multi-piece construction with a blackened magnetic iron core with a ribbed border, and a raised swastika in the centre with the institution date 1939 below. The reverse is plain with a vertical barrel hinge and flat wire hinge unmarked but attributed to Klein & Quenzer. The Iron Cross comes complete with its original presentation case covered in black leatherette embossed with a silver Iron Cross, with a fabric interior base to secure the medal. The case measures 20 mm (h) x 280 mm (w) x 290mm (l) with a metal hinge and spring catch. , the award is in good condition. The medal and presentation box has no damage or repairs, in very good conditioin.

The outer cardboard box is inscribed on the lid “EISERNES KREUZ I. KLASSE 1939” (Iron Cross 1st Class 1939) and “NUR VOM EMPFÄNGER ZU ÖFFNEN” (Only For Recipient To Open) the edge has the maker "Fritz Zimmermann Ordenfabrik, Stuttgart", measuring 70 mm (w) x 75 mm (l) x 25 mm (h). The box is damaged with plenty of wear, but the medals is in good condition.

The obverse of the badge has a riveted eagle which is typical of the maker, with the silver wash still intact. This reverse of the badge is smooth and has no maker mark, however, this is without a doubt an FLL (Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid). The hardware on the back is standard for this maker and includes a sheet metal catch and hinge that have been soldered together without any modifications. An extremely rare Luftwaffe Pilots Badge by GWL, constructed in tombak with a nice patina and polished edges. The obverse of the decoration bears a Luftwaffe Eagle clutching a mobile swastika in its talons, surrounded by an oval-shaped oak and laurel wreath. The reverse of the badge is marked "GWL" by desirable maker Grebüder Wegerhoff of Lüdenscheid, which is over-stamped "RC" and is attributed to "Richard Weimar Conrad" (RZM code M1/2). It is likely that GWL sold some of its stock to a third party, and RC added his own mark for sale and distribution. This pilot's badge has no damage or repairs with a nice frosted wreath and polished highlights and is in mint condition.

An early Luftwaffe Transport And Glider Squadron Clasp in bronze (Frontflugspange für Transport und Luftlandflieger in Bronze), constructed of bronze with the eagle overlaid in silver. The reverse is unmarked but attributed to C.E. Juncker complete with a barrel hinge complete with a tapered pin and a round wire catch, measuring 76.33 mm (w) x 25.52 mm (h) in good condition.

Militär Verwaltung Badge
A rare Militär Verwaltung badge constructed in silvered bronze issued to civilian administration staff the obverse features Wehrmacht eagle and swastika emblem in the centre, surrounded by an oval enameled by the Third Reich national colours (red, white, and black) with the inscription "Militär Verwaltung Belgien u. N. Frankreich” (Military Administration, Belgium and Northern France) in Gothic lettering. The front badge shows some wear, with most of the silver plating on the eagle intact, and some enamel damage on the right side. The back of the badge includes a brooch-type clutch pin; stamped with the issue number "2140" measuring 46.92mm wide in very good condition.

A Reconnaissance Clasp Silver by BSW, constructed in zinc. The obverse of the clasp depicts a leftward facing eagle, surrounded by a circular laurel wreath with a static swastika below, with nine outstretched oak leaves left and right. The reverse is slightly vaulted with the "BSW" makers mark for Bebrüder Schneider, Wien; with a tapered pinback barrel hinge and round wire catch; measuring 75.85mm (w) x 25.50mm (h). The clasp retains about 90% of the original finish, in extremely fine condition.
