Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, surmounted by a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a central depiction of a Viking longship sailing over the Northern Hemisphere. The reverse includes a barrel-style hinge with vertical pinback and flat wire catch, unmarked but with the physical characteristics of manufacture by Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, measuring 44.4 mm (w) x 56.5 mm (h), weighing 35 grams, in good condition.

A fine example of German DRL Sports Badge Silver (Reichssportabzeichen in Silber) constructed of silvered bronze. The obverse consists of "DRL' script superimposed in the centre surrounded by an oak wreath with a swastika and bow below. An original Iron Cross EK1 by Fritz Zimmermann, Stuggart three-piece construction with a blackened iron core, within a ribbed border. The obverse depicts a mobile swastika in the centre of a Prussian-style cross with the re-institution date "1939" embossed below. The reverse of the iron cross has a vertical pinback, and barrel hinge with a flat wire catch; marked "6". The presentation box is covered in black leatherette with a silver iron cross embossed on the lid, with some light scuffs. The inside is lined with beige rayon, with a push button hinge catch. The medal has no damage or repairs, a few minor marks otherwise in very good condition.

Kreta Cuff Title
A nice example of a Kreta cuff title/armband (Ärmelband “Kreta”) full length constructed in white cotton, embroidered in golden yellow with the inscription "Kreta" (Crete) in roman style font, flanked on each side by acanthus leaves with Russian braid top and bottom. The reverse of the cuff title is plain, with two inward folds on the top and bottom, approximately 12-13mm deep, with the RBN number (Reichsbetriebsnummer) stamp which indicates the location and contractor who produced the title. Overall the length of the cuff title is 44-45mm in length, unissued, in extremely fine condition.

Militär Verwaltung Badge
A rare Militär Verwaltung badge constructed in silvered bronze issued to civilian administration staff the obverse features Wehrmacht eagle and swastika emblem in the centre, surrounded by an oval enameled by the Third Reich national colours (red, white, and black) with the inscription "Militär Verwaltung Belgien u. N. Frankreich” (Military Administration, Belgium and Northern France) in Gothic lettering. The front badge shows some wear, with most of the silver plating on the eagle intact, and some enamel damage on the right side. The back of the badge includes a brooch-type clutch pin; stamped with the issue number "2140" measuring 46.92mm wide in very good condition.
