A mint Auxiliary Cruiser Badge (Kriegsabzeichen für Hilfskreuzer) constructed of gilded and silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, surmounted by a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a central depiction of a Viking longship sailing over the Northern Hemisphere. The reverse includes a block-style hinge banjo pin with a classic flat wire catch soldered directly to the badge, unmarked but attributed to C.E. Juncker. The badge measures 44.1 mm (w) x 57.0 mm (h), and weighs 37 grams, and has no damage or repairs in very good condition.

A desirable Auxiliary Cruiser War Badge By Schwerin Berlin (Kriegsabzeichen für Hilfskreuzer). Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consists of an oval oak leaf wreath, surmounted by a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a central depiction of a Viking longship sailing over the Northern Hemisphere. The reverse includes a barrel-style hinge with banjo-style vertical pinback and flat wire catch, with markers marked "Schwerin Berlin" measuring 44.34 mm (w) x 57.14 mm (h), weighing 31.5 grams. An original WW2 German Kriegsmarine Blockade Runners Badge with stickpin by Fec. Otto Placzek, die-struck construction in zinc and tombac. The obverse of the decoration has a burnished silver finish with nice patina. The reverse has "dish-back" surface known as variation 4 wth the makers mark "Fec. Otto Placzek Berlin Ausf. Schwerin Berlin" with a tapered vertical pin and soldered barrel hinge and hook, accompanied by a minature stickpin unmarked. The presentation case is a modern copy covered in blue leatherette and linned with blue rayon and purple felt base. The badge and stickpin have no damage or repairs in good condition.

German Cross In Gold By Zimmerman With Presentation Case
A very desirable WW2 German Cross in Gold by Zimmermann, light version. The obverse of the decoration shows light wear and the swastika has all the black enamel intact, and the central disk has beautiful patina. The golden wreath is bright, with the expected die flaw on '9' on the date. The reverse of the German cross in gold has the PZK code '20' stamped on the pin for C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim with four rivets. The presentation case is linned on the outside with black leatherette, with a thin gold stripe around the top leading edge with no catch. Inside the lid of the presentation case is linned with rayon, and the base is covered in black velvet. This desirable decoration weighs 44 grams, has no damge or repairs in very good condition.

The reverse of the iron cross has a block barrel hinge with a flat fluted vertical pin marked ‘26’ for B.H. Mayer, Pforzheim and flat wire catch. The presentation case is embossed with silver iron cross and covered in black leatherette with metal spring catch. The interior of the case is lined with white rayon material and the base is covered in beige felt.
