1936 German Olympic Games Participants Medal Bronze
A 1936 German Olympic Games Participants Medal Bronze was awarded to participants to commemorate the 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics. The obverse of the medal features five men standing in line stepping onto a podium inscribed “1936”. On the left side of the medal is marked vertically with “XI. OLYMPIADE” and on the right side is marked “BERLIN”. The reverse of the medal features a bell with an eagle holding the Olympic rings at the centre, with the name of the designer “OTTO PLACZEK” on the ledge. In addition, the rim is also marked with the foundry maker Guss Noack Berlin.
Overall the medal has a nice patina, in good condition.

WW2 German Polizei Gendarmerie NCO Shako
A WW2 German Polizei Gendarmerie NCO Shako 1936 pattern, worn by rural police. The shako is constructed in molded, black vulcan fibre body with green wool exterior and two ventilation holes situated on each side, complete with a brown lacquered leather peak and chin strap. The front of the shako is complete with large aluminum Police Eagle, with the National tri-color cockade above. The inside of the police shako is complete with the original leather drawstring, with the maker mark Hans Römer in Neu-Ulm (Donau). Overall, this is an excellent item that is very desirable in mint condition which would make a great display.
