1st Bn F.M. Commando WW2 Cap Badge & Shoulder Title
A rare 1st Bn F.M. Commando WW2 Cap Badge, constructed in bronze die struck. The badge depicts a shield with the cross of Lorraine in the top left hand corner with a commando dagger going through a sailing ship. Beneath the shield is a scroll with the inscrption “1st Bn F.M. Commando”. The reverse of the badge is stamped MADE IN ENGLAND made ny J.R. Gaunt in late 1944, complete with both lugs. The badge comes complete with French Commandos shoulder title machine embroiderd in red thread on dark blue woollen backing. Both items have no damage or repairs in very good condition.

An extremely rare Free French WW2 SAS paratrooper wings, machine embroidered in white, gold, and black thread on dark blue woollen backing. The insignia depicts a parachute with wings in the centre, with a star at the bottom of the risers. The badge was worn on the left arm by members of the French SAS, and measures 6.3cm high x 6cm width. The insignia has no damage or moth holes in very good condition.
