DRL Sports Badge Silver With Presentation Case

A fine example of German DRL Sports Badge Silver (Reichssportabzeichen in Silber) constructed of silvered bronze.  The obverse consists of “DRL’ script superimposed in the centre surrounded by an oak wreath with a swastika and bow below.  The reverse of the badge includes a barrel hinge, with flat catch and straight pin with makers mark “Wernstein, Jena” and “DRGM 35269” measuring 38.65 mm (w) x 48.11 mm (h); weighing 17.1 grams complete with presentation case.  The outer case is covered in bergunndy leatherette inside case in linned with rayon and base is black felt.   The badge has no damage or repairs in mint condition.
