An extremly rare SA (Sturmabteilung) Medical Badge, oval shaped constructed on black felt with silver twisted pipping around the outer edge, with an aluminium serpent, and rod of Asclepiu in the centre. On the reverse of the badge you can see evidence of purple fabric which was commonly used in the early years complete with prongs and buckrum backing. This item is new collecting market having come from a recent group of items discovered by a family who little is known about apart from he served as a Doctor with the Algermeine SS.
