German WWII Luftwaffe Herman Goring NCO’s Cuff Title, circa 1943 – 1945 period, measures approximately 500mm in length and  32mm in height.  Beautifully machine embroidered on blue wool construction, with “Herman Goring” in block script with silver threads in mint condition.

Herman Goring Division

The Herman Goring Division unit was named after the Reichsmarschall started out as a Prussian Police regiment under Goring’s control during the period of consolidation of Nazi power. With the outbreak of war, it became a ground combat unit of his Luftwaffe.

This size of the unit increased throughout the war and became an armoured division, and by 1945 a Parachute Armoured Corps” of two-division strength.
