HJ Gausieger Badge By Gustav Brehmer

A scarce HJ Gausieger Badge by Gustav Brehmer, multi-piece construction silvered tombac and enamel.  The obverse of the badge depicts a circular oak leaf wreath with a cream-coloured center inscribed “Gausieger” on the top and dated “1938” on the bottom with the national eagle with outstretched wings superimposed in the centre,  clutching a cogwheel in its talon with an HJ diamond in the centre.  The reverse has a tapered vertical pin with a block barrel hinge with a flat wire catch with the marker mark “G. (Gustav) Brehmer, Markneukirchen” in near-mint condition.
