An original Imperial Imperial German Iron Cross 2nd Class & Hindenburg court mounted. The Iron Cross 2nd Class is stamped ‘IVI’ by unknown maker and the Hindenburg Cross 1914-1918 is marked ‘0.1.’ for Orden-Herstellergemeinschaft, Pforzheim. The medal set is nicely court mounted with original ribbons in good condition.

Bavarian Military Merit Cross 3rd Class With Swords & Presentation Box
A WW1 Bavarian military merit cross 3rd class with swords & presentation case, constructed in bronze tombak. The obverse of the medal depicts a Maltese cross with cross swords, with a the cypher of King Ludwig III in the centre, surrounded by a ring incribed "Merenti" for merit complete with original ribbon. The reverse bears the Bavarian crowned lion surrounded by a buckled belt with the date "1886". The presentation box is constructed in burgundy cardboard. The front of the box is embosed "Bayr M.V. Kr. 3.Kl.". The reverse box is marked Deschler & Sohn, München. The present box has a few scuffs and the medal has no damage or repairs in good condition.

M16 German WW1 Steel Camouflage Helmet
A German M16 steel camouflage WW1 helmet. The exterior of the helmet has been hand painted in tan ochre, green, and black paint as per the directive in 1918 by Chief of the General Staff of the Field Army, Erich Ludendorf which has a nice finish. The interior of the helmet is stamped with the makers code 'K64' for J. & H. Kerkmann, Ahlen/Westf size 64. The liner has a black leather liner which is nice and suple complete with pads. The helmet is missing this chin strap otherwise in good condition.

The obverse of the medal features the Hungary coat of arms, with a set of crossed swords below signifying the medal is for combatants, encircled by oaks leaves. The reverse depicts a steel helmet in the centre with the inscription below 1914-1918 encircled by laurel leafs, surmounted by the incription "PRO DEO ET PATRIA" (FOR GOD AND COUNTRY). A German/Austrian M16 steel helmet from WW1. The helmet retains its original factory green paint finish on both the exterior and interior. It includes the original canvas chin straps and buckles. A classic WW1 German Iron Cross 1st Class 1914 with early presentation case, three-part construction with magnetic iron core, with beautiful patina. The reverse is unmarked, with a vertical pin and barrel hinge with wire catch. The presentation is early variaton the exterior is covered in black leatherette, ebossed with a silver iron cross with a push button catch. The interior of the case has a nice purple velvet base, with a cream coloured lid. The Iron Cross and presentation box has no damage or repairs in good condition.

An original WW1 German Grand Duchy Hesse-Darmstadt Bravery War Medal, constructed in silver and was instituted in 1898 and remained in circulation till 1918. The medal depicts the head of the Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig facing left, circumscribed ‘ERNST LUDWIG GROSSHERZOG VON HESSEN’ and the reverse is inscribed 'FÜR KRIEGS-VERDIENSTE' (FOR BRAVERY) encircled by a laurel and oak wreath. The suspension ring is intact complete with orginal ribbon, the medal has no damage or repair and is in good condition.
