Iron Cross 1914 EK2 Medal With Presentation Case

An original Iron Cross 1914 EK2 award with a presentation case, the medal has a magnetic iron core with a nice patina the suspension ring is stamped with “F” for unknown maker.  The presentation case is covered in black leatherette embossed with a German Imperial Crown, which is lined inside the lid with white satin fabric with the following print “Zur Erinnerung an Deutschlands große Zeit” (to commemorate Germany’s time of greatness).  The EK1 medal rests on a cream-coloured felt base.  The medal has a minor crack on the cross, but otherwise in good condition.
