Luftwaffe Bombers Clasp Silver By Juncker With Presentation Case
An early Luftwaffe Bombers Clasp Silver By Juncker with presentation case constructed in tombac. The obverse of the decoration retains its original silver was and the wreath and oak leaves are extremly well preserved, and the bombers emblem has orginal black finish secured by a single revit in the centre. The reverse of the clasp is umarked but this is a textbook example of the desirable maker C.E. Juncker with a wide tapered pin, barrel hinge, and round wire catch. The presentation case is covered in blue leatherette and embosed in gold "Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger silber" (Front Flight Clasp For Fighter Pilots Silver) and linned insite with biege felt and white rayon. The badge and case are bith in very good condition which would be hard to upgrade.

Luftwaffe Demjansk Campaign Shield
An original Luftwaffe Demjansk shield unmarked, die-struck with silver wash. The obverse depicts the national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, with a log pillbox on either side, with the inscription above “DEMJANSK”, with a frontal image of a prop plane below, with crossed swords with the date below “1942”, mounted on blue-grey woolen background. The reverse has all prongs intact, with paper backing and measures 92.2mm (h) x 51.1 mm (w). The campaign shield has no damage or repairs in very good condition.

The reverse of the decoration is stamped with the makers logo 'GWL' for Gebruder Wegerhoff, Ludenscheid compete with integral hinge and catch. The decoration comes complete with the original case covered in blue faux leatherette, embossed on the lid “Flak Kampf Abz” in golden gothic lettering, lined with heavy pressed paper, and press stud release catch. The docoration has no damage or repairs, and the case has a few minor scratches on the exterior of the box, otherwise in good condition.

The obverse of the decoration depicts a nickle silver wreath of laurel and oak leaves with a tobak superimposed diving eagle clutching a canted swastika in its talons. The reverse of the badge includes two rivets securing the eagle tightly to the wreath with the maker’s mark clearly visible “C.E. Jucker, Berlin S.W” complete with a classic barrel hinge and round wire catch. The decoration measures 42.70 mm (w) x 53.10 mm (h); weighs 40.9 grams; in extremely fine condition.
