Luftwaffe Officers Summer Visor Cap
A Luftwaffe Officers Summer Visor Cap, constructed of white cotton twill with a woven black rayon cap band trimmed with twisted silver thread “Waffenfarbe” piping above and below complete with silver bullion wire chinstrap, secured by two pebbled silver zink buttons that rests’ nicely on the black leather visor. In the centre of the rayon band machine-embroidered silver bullion insignia with raised tri-colour cockade, with a hand embroidered Luftwaffe eagle above, clutching a canted swastika in its talons in silver bullion on white woolen base. The interior of the cap has a wide leather sweatband with silk lining, complete with a transparent moisture guard securely stitched with private makers mark “Deutfehe Arbeit, B.Stark Münster i.w. prinfipalmarkt”.
Overall, the Luftwaffe Officers Summer Visor Cap is in mint condition with minor marks on the exterior of the cap, which would complete any display.
