Mine Rescue Honour Medal With Presentation Case
A scare WW2 German Mine Rescue Honour Medal, constructed of silvered tombak with suspension ring complete with its original ribbon. The obverse bears a crossed hammer and pickaxe, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika. The reverse of the medal is inscribed “FÜR VERDIENSTE IM GRUBENWEHRWESEN” (FOR MERIT IN MINE RESCUE). The medal measures 35.10mm in diameter and weighs 17.2 grams and comes complete with a yellow presentation case lined with yellow felt. The medal has no damage or repairs slight sign of wear otherwise in very good condition,

The obverse of the medal consists of a round oak wreath with a canted swastika in the centre of the medal inscribed with “Für Dienste im Luftschutz” (For Services in Air Raid Protection) around the outer edge. The reverse of the medal is inscribed with "1938" in the centre surrounded by an oak wreath, measuring 38.50mm in diameter; weighing 25.7 grams; in very good condition.

WW2 German National Faithful Service Medal 40 Years With Case
An original National Faithful Service Medal 40 Years with case by Deschler & Sohn, Munchen. Constructed in bronze gilt the obverse depicts a cross with a black enamel swastika in the centre surrounded by an oak wreath, with a blue ribbon. The reverse is inscribed "FUR TREUE DIENFTE" (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE) measuring 41mm x 41mm. The presentation case is covered in red leatherette embossed on the lid with "40" with oaks leafs in gold, and the inside is lined with red velvet which the medal sits, and the inside of the lid is lined with white silk satin marked "Deschler & Sohn, München” with a press button catch. The case has a few minor scuffs the medal is in mint condition.
