Nottingham & Derbyshire Regiment (Sherwood Foresters) Cap Badge
The regimental cap badge of The Nottingham & Derbyshire (Sherwood Foresters) cap badge depicts the Maltese Cross surmounted by an imperial kings crown. In the centre of the cross is a wreath of oak leaves which a stag is lodged (seated). On each side of the centre is a half scroll with the inscription ‘Sherwood’ on the left and ‘Foresters’ on the right.
Below the cross is another scroll inscribed ‘Notts & Derby’.
