Police Long Service Medal 1st Class 25 Years

Police Long Service Medal 1st Class for 25 years service, constructed of gilded bronze, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, complete with suspension loop and ribbon.  The obverse bears the Ordnungspolizei insignia in the form of an oval oak leaf wreath topped by a German National Eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER POLIZEI” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE POLICE”).  The medal measure 43.17 mm (w) x 48.22 mm (h), weighing 22.8 grams, in good condition.
