A RAD Long Service Medal 1st Class 2Reich Labour Service (RAD)5 Years (Dienstauszeichnung der Reichsarbeitsdienst, I Klasse für 25 Jahre) constructed in gilded bronze oval shaped.   The medal depicts the emblem of Reich Labour Service (RAD) in the form of a shovel overlaid by a mobile swastika within a set of wheat stalks.  The reverse of the medal is inscribed “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IM REICHSARBEITSDIENST” (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE REICH LABOUR SERVICE).   The medal ring is marked “L/58″L/58” for Rudolf Souval, Wien, measuring 33.30 mm (w) x 45.56 mm (h), weighing 23.2 gram in mint condition.
