Scots Guards Officer’s Silver Cap Badge 1915
A scarce Scots Guards Officer’s Silver Cap Badge 1915, the insignia depicts a St Andrew’s cross overlying a multi-rayed star with a central circlet bearing the motto NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT (None provokes me with impunity) enclosing a thistle worn on officers dress cap. The badge comes complete with silver maker mark HT (Henry Tatton) Edinburgh 1915. The badge has no damage or repairs in mint condition.

Irish Guards Officer’s Cap Badge
An Irish Guards Officer's Cap Badge, made by Toye, Kenning & Spencer Limited. The badge depicts the Star of the Order of St. Patrick, an eight-pointed Star, each point being a cluster of rays, the cardinal points being longer than the intermediate points, in the centre a circlet bearing the motto QUIS SEPARABIT (Who shall separate us?) and the date MDCCLXXXIII (1783 – the year the Order was founded) enclosing a saltire over which a shamrock, each of the three lobes bearing a crown. The reverse comes complete with both lugs, in good condition.
