The Defence Medal

The Defence Medal was a campaign medal of the British Commonwealth Forces, awarded for service in WW2 which was instituted to recognise both military and some types of civilian service.  The medal was issued to Mr W Eite from Carlise complete with a presentation box, and medal certificate.
