Waffen-SS EM/NCOs Belt Buckle Hammer-Head Variant

This is an early example of a rare Waffen-SS EM/NCOs belt buckle hammer-head variant, die struck in silver nickel circa 1931 – 1936. The obverse features the SS National eagle clutching a wreathed eagle, surrounded by the unit’s motto ‘Meine Ehre heißt Treue!’ (My Honour is Loyalty). The reverse remains unmarked and includes a c-shaped prong along with the standard catch. This Waffen-SS buckle is exceptionally rare, remains in good condition, and shows no signs of damage or repairs.
