WW1 German Prussian NCO Brass Pickelhaube Helmet Plate constructed in gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of a highly-detailed Hohenzollern-style imperial eagle, which is missing the orb and sceptre, bearing a central monogram of King Friedrich, overlaid by a banner bearing a raised inscription of “MIT GOTT FÜR KOENIG UND VATERLAND” (“WITH GOD FOR KING AND FATHERLAND”), the reverse lugs are missing, measuring 122 mm (w) x 105 mm (h).
