WW2 Heer Demjansk Shield By Deschler & Sohn
An original Heer Demjansk Shield By Deschler & Sohn, die-struck with silver wash. The obverse depicts the national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, with a log pillbox on either side, with the inscription above “DEMJANSK”, with a frontal image of a prop plane below, with crossed swords with the date below “1942”, mounted on field-grey woolen background. The reverse has a steel backing with all four prongs intact, which measures 92.2mm (h) x 51.1 mm (w), weighing 25g. The campaign shield has no damage or repairs in very good condition.

An original Krim Campaign Shield Heer, constructed in pressed steel, magnetic, with a bronze finish. The obverse consists of a raised map of Crimea and southern Ukraine, topped by a Wehrmacht-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates “1941-1942”, affixed to a field-grey wool patch. The reverse is complete with field-grey wollen backing; measuring 52 mm (w) x 62 mm (h). The badge is missing one of the lugs, and the zink backing plate, otherwise in good condition.
