RLB (Reichsluftschutzbund) Air Raid League Officers Armband – 1st Pattern
An early RLB (Reichsluftschutzbund) Air Raid League Officers Armband 1st pattern. The armband is made of quality mid-blue cotton material with a machine embroidered RLB emblem on the front. The RLB emblem consists of a white sunburst with navy blue letters “RLB” and a small tilted swastika in the center. The armband has silver wire tress along the upper and lower edges, indicating Officer rank. The armband has a stitched seam on the back, and is marked with “BEVO BARMEN GES GERCH”. This is a very fine example of an Officer RLB Armband.
