Glasgow Highlanders 5th VB H.L.I Victorian Cap Badge
An original Glasgow Highlanders 5th Volunteer Battalion Higland Light Infantry Victorian cap badge, die struck in white metal. The obverse of the cap badge consists of the star of the order of the thistle with St Andrew and his cross in the centre, with the motto "Nemo Me Impune Lacessit" (None May Touch Me With Impunity), surmounted by a Victorian crown with Spinx below. The scroll above has the following inscription 'Glasgow Highlander' and the scroll below is inscribbed '5th BV H.L.I.). The reverse of the badge has both prongs intact, with no damage or repairs.

Royal Scots Fusiliers Officers Gilt Cap Badge Circa 1902 – 1952
An original Royal Scots Fusiliers Officers Gilt Cap Badge circa 1902 - 1952, two part construction with nice gilt finish. The obverse of the badge depicts a grenade fired proper, on the ball of the grenade is the Royal Arms surmounted by the Royal Crest with Imperial (King's) crown. On the Royal Arms is the inscription 'HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE (the motto of the Order of the Garter) and below the Arms the inscription 'DIEU ET MON DROIT'. The reverse of the badge is complete with two lugs to reverse, with no damage or repairs in very good condition.

The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Cap Badge
The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders cap badge, circa WW1; voided centre version; constructed in white metal depicting a circlet inscribed "ARGYLL AND SUTHERLAND". Within the circlet, the cypher "L" of the late Princess Louise, interlaced and reversed. On the left of the cypher is a boar's head and on the right is a cat-a-mountain (wild cat). Above the cypher and overlaying the top of the circlet is the Princess's coronet (a Royal Ducal coronet), all within a wreath of thistles. Complete with both lugs on reverse, in good condition.

The Royal Scots Cap Badge
Original WW2 The Royal Scots Cap Badge for sale, constructed in bi-metal the badge depicts the Star of the Order of the Thistle, in the voided centre an oval with St Andrew and his saltire cross above a scroll inscribed 'THE ROYAL SCOTS'. The Garter Star is in white metal, the oval and scroll in gilding-metal. The reverse comes with both lugs intact, in good condition.
