8th (Irish) Battalion the King’s Liverpool Regiment Cap Badge

An 8th (Irish) Battalion the King’s Liverpool Regiment Cap Badge, constructed in white metal.  The obverse of the badge depicts an Irish Harp surmounted by an Imperial crown and resting on a wreath of shamrocks.  Below is a scroll inscribed ‘8th (IRISH) BN THE KING’S REGIMENT L’POOL’.  The reverse of the badge has a brass slider, in good condition.
