Belgian 1st Parachute Battalion Cap Badge
An original Belgian 1st Parachute Battalion cap badge post war, constructed in brass. The badge depicts the classic winged dagger with the motto of British Special Air Service as the unit can trace their origins back to World War II when the Belgian Independent Parachute Company was formed in the United Kingdom in 1942, and later became part of the Special Air Service (SAS) Brigade and fought in the North West Europe Campaign 1944-45. The reverse of the badge is complete with both lugs, with no damage or repairs in good condition.

An extremely rare Free French WW2 SAS paratrooper wings, machine embroidered in white, gold, and black thread on dark blue woollen backing. The insignia depicts a parachute with wings in the centre, with a star at the bottom of the risers. British SAS (Special Air Service) Beret And Badge Circa 1950s-60s
An original British SAS (Special Air Service) Beret and badge circa 1950s-60s, constructed in biege wool. The sand-coloured beret of the Special Air Service was adopted by the Regiment to represent the dessert where it was formed in North Africa in 1941 by David Stirling. The beige beret was worn from 1942-1944. In 1944, when the SAS returned to the UK they were forced to adopt the maroon beret of the airborne forces as they became part of that command. The beret is in worn condition, with a few moth niks complete with the original leather head band, and cotton liner. This items is perfect for any collection who specialise in Airborne and Special Forces items.
