British WW2 RAF Goldfish Club Badge
A scarce British WW2 RAF Goldfish Club badge, awarded unoficially to airmen who were rescued after crashing/landing in the sea and taking to their dinghies qualified for Goldfish Club membership and were eligible for the badge. The badge is hand embroidered on black wool and depicts a white winged goldfish flying over two waves. The reverse of the insignia has hessian style backing and measures H 52mm x W 38mm, with no damage or repairs in good condition.
