Gloucestershire Regiment Cap Badge
A British WW1 Gloucestershire Regiment cap badge circa 1914-18, constructed in white metal. The cap badge depicts a Sphinx resting on a pedestal inscribed “Egypt”, within two sprigs of laurel. Below the laurel is a scroll inscribed “Gloucestershire”. The reverse of the badge has a brass slider in good condition.
