Luftwaffe Radio Operator & Air Gunner Badge By Wilhelm Deumer
An early Luftwaffe Air Gunner and Radio Operators Badge By Wilhelm Deumer, constructed in tombak. The obverse of the badge has beautiful patina and depicts a flying eagle cluching a set of lighting bolts, surrounded by an oval wreath of oak and laurel leaves with a swastika at the base. The reverse of the decoration has the maker's mark 'WDeumer, Lüdenscheid' for Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid, complete with vertical pin and barrelled hinge, and round wire catch. The decoration has no damage of repairs in very good condition by desirable maker.
