Memel Medal By Steinhauer & Luck
An original Memel Annexation by Steinhauer & Lück, die struck construction in bronze. The obverse of the medal bears two standing figures on a podium with a Wehrmacht eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika. One of the figures are clutching a flag and the other one a length of broken chain. The reverse bears the inscription of “ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DIE HEIMKEHR DES MEMELLANDES 22. MÄRZ 1939” (IN MEMORY OF THE HOMECOMING OF MEMELLAND 22 MARCH 1939). The suspension ring is unmarked and comes complete with the original medal. The medal is attributed to Steinhauer & Lück of Lüdenscheid often referred to as the straight G variant. The medal has no damage or repairs with nice patina in very good condition.

A beutiful Iron cross EK1 by Steinhauer & Lück, three-piece construction with nice silver frame and magnetic iron core with nice black finish and patina. The reverse of the iron cross is marked '4' on the fluted pin for Steinhauer & Lück', Lüdenscheid complete with barrel hinge and catch typical of S&L. The box is covered in black leatherette embossed with a iron cross on the outer lid, inside is lined with a white rayon fabric and the base is biege felt complete with press stud catch. The decoration and the case have no damage or repairs, just a few scuff marks on the outer case otherwise in very good condition.

The set includes a German Iron Cross 2nd Class with magnetic iron with factory paint finish, with nice silver frame, unmarked medal ring, The second medal features the Romaanian 'Against Communism' 1941 medal. The obverse of Romanian medal depicts a portrait of a female facing towards the left and circumscribed 'Romania Recunoscatoare' (Romania Recognisant). The reverse of the medal features a hand holding a sword vertically with sun rays to the left and right of the hilt, and circumscribed '1941' inscribed 'Cruciada Importava Comunismului'. Both medals on tge medal group have no damage or repairs in very good condition.

National Faithful Service Medal 50 Years With Case By Deschler & Sohn
A rare National Faithful Service Medal 50 Years with presentation case, constructed from die-struck nickel silver base with gold-coloured gilt. The medal features a cross pattée with an oak leaf wreath running between the cross’s arms, with a black-enamelled swastika in the centre bearing the number 50 in gold in the top arm. The reverse includes the inscription "FUR TREUE DIENFTE" (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE). The award comes complete with the original presentation case covered in red leatherette exterior embossed with 50 with oak leaves wreath, with light scuff marks otherwise in good condition. The interior of the presentation box is is lined with rayon and the lid is stamped Deschler & Sohn of Munich. The medal and case have no damage or repairs in good condition.

The presentation case is covered in red leatherette with a gold Wehrmacht eagle embossed on the lid, and the inside is lined with red velvet. The reverse of the presentation case is marked 'Hauptmünzamt Wien III' along with hand written inscrption "305 Where Teller Mine June 18 Wounded Welikiluki'. The first medal is a German WWII Iron Cross 2nd Class, unmarked with magnetic iron core. The accompanying medal is the Finnish Cross of Liberty 4th Class with swords, a striking decoration awarded for military merit during conflict, dated 1941 on the reverse. Both medals are expertly court mounted, enhancing their display and preserving their historical integrity. Completing this ensemble is a medal ribbon trio, prominently featuring the Winter War 1939-1940 Medal, a tribute to those who served in Finland’s fierce struggle. This medal is not part of the medal group. The condition of the medals are fair with some minor oxidisation.
