These medals court mounted are accompanied by copies of service records, medal rolls, and the 1911 census. Chief Petty Officer Oswald Gurowich, born on 13/8/1892 in Devonport, Devon, pursued a career as a clerk before enlisting in the Royal Navy as a Ships Steward Assistant.
