The buckle depicts a silver Order of the Thistle, which is the symbol of the Scot Guards surrounded by a laurel wreath, with ornate belt loops. The belt buckle has no damage or repairs in mint condition.

An original Royal Irish Regiment Officer’s Victorian Helmet Plate Circa 1881-1900, die stamped contructed in brass. The obverse of the helmet plate depicts a seven pointed star with a silver crowned harp resting in shamrock sprays, in the centre on red felt backing, surrounded by the Royal Garter with the inscription “Honi Soit Qui Maly Pense” and laurel wreath, surmounted by a Victorian crown. Beneath the Royal Garter is a ornate scroll in white metal with the inscription “The Royal Irish”. The reverse of the helmet plate is complete with brass lugs, with no damage or repairs in good conditiion.

Beneath the Royal Garter is a ornate scroll in white metal with the inscription "The South Welsh Borderers". A Royal Malta Militia belt buckle 1889 – 1903, constructed in brass and white metal. The buckle is a two-part design with ornate, floral filigree borders on the outside. A round, recessed center embossed with "Royal Malta Militia, MDCCC". In the center of the round section is Maltese Cross, encircled by a wreath and surmounted by Victorian crown, in white metal. The reverse is blank and unmarked with no damege or repairs in good condition.
