US WW2 Army Engineer Special Brigade Insignia
An original US WW2 Army Engineer Special Brigade insignia, machine embroidered in yellow and light blue thread. The insignia was instituted on 17th June 1942, and was worn by Army amphibious assault engineers, who served on the D-Day invasion. The reverse has white flecks of thread which is a good way to indentify period items, which has no damage or repairs in good condition.
