War Merit Cross 1st Class Without Swords Marked 50
Original War Merit Cross first class without swords; constructed in silvered tombac, the obverse depicts maltese cross with a swastika in the centre, surrounded by oak leaves. The reverse is complete with a vertical pin stamped "50" by Karl Gschiermeister of Wien (Vienna), and a barrel hinge, complete with presentation case is in good condition.

War Merit Cross First Class with Swords Cased by Kerbach & Österhelt
Original War Merit Cross First Class with Swords by Kerbach & Österhelt, constructed in silvered tombac. The reverse has a barrel hinge with a banjo-style pin with flat wire catch, the inside of the pin is stamped “62” for Kerbach & Österhelt, Dresden, and measures 48.85 mm (w) x 48.58 mm (h). The decoration also comes complete with the original presentation case, the exterior is covered in black leatherette embossed with the award in silver, and the interior lid is lined with white ryon, with the markers mark, and a cardboard base lined in felt to slot in the award. The outer case has a few minor scuffs and the award has no damage or repairs in good condition.
