SS Members Runic Breast Insignia
An original SS Members Runic breast insignia, constructed in silver bullion thread on field grey woolen backing. The insignia was worn by personnel serving in one of the Waffen-SS units who did not qualify to wear the SS runic collar tab, which was worn on the lower left breast. The reverse of the insignia has the paper backing. The SS members runic breast insignia has no damage or repairs, in good condition.

The obverse of the buckle is embossed with the SS National eagle cluchting a wreathed eagle surrounded by the units motto 'Meine Ehre heißt Treue!' (My Honour is Loyalty). The reverse of the buckle is clearly stamped 'RZM 36/39' for Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid. SS Cap Eagle By Fritz Zimmermann M1/72 Type 3
A rare SS cap eagle by Fritz Zimmermann, die-struck in aluminium. This Type 3 variant measures approximately 68mm wide by 32mm high. The reverse is correctly marked, with the left wing stamped M1/72 for Fritz Zimmermann and the right wing bearing the RZM mark. The insignia displays an attractive natural patina and remains complete with both original brass prongs. A scarce example, especially difficult to find in this condition.
